Never seen a oil decal in that place on a side panel before
I am not into USA 750's. James H is the specialist when it comes to imports, he has restored a few in his time .The decal on the rear mudguard should be somewhere else, Maybe on the chain guard or swinging arm and the decal on the chain guard looks like the one that should be on the mudguard Just spotted that it has JIS screws on the airbox mounting brackets to the frame. These were M6 hex bolts originally.
Luckily we have a good parts supplier for classic Hondas here in France (so no additional duty/VAT to pay!).https://www.vintagebike.fr/
Welcome to the sohc Forum Matt....I think you got fair warning TBH. When buying at Auction.....as always, 'Caveat Emptor' applies.Quote: We encourage buyers outside of the UK to confirm any local tax, VAT or duty that may be payable upon purchase. i.e. 'Don't expect the Auctioneer to pay any taxes etc etc'.........because they won't !I think you'll just have to cough up the dosh......and worry about it after, but I can't see you have a case for a refund.Enjoy the bike.......if it is as good as they say, then you'll soon forget the 5.5% duty.
