550f 069a needle position
« on: August 19, 2023, 12:06:15 PM »
As much as I've searched I can't find an answer to which slot the needle clip should be in as stock, they are currently at no2 from top.

How many slots are there, iirc it's usually the middle position.

So how many clip positions are there on your CB550 is it only four or are there five like on my 400 & presumably on my 500?

You have stated there are five on the CB500 like mine is the 550 different?

Both the 272304 (K models) as the 273004 needle (F models) are supposed to have 5 slots.

Back then, nobody did, nor would they 'adjust' the floattangs.

You clearly never went racing DR, to get maximum performance you were altering the needles, jets etc for almost every meeting due to track requirements.
