Well i have family in Ramsbottom which aint far from nelson, not sure i can afford the petrol for the nephews F150 Harly supercharged though

I will check with the seller on the CDI's. But, even if they have them, will they work  :o

Doesn't necessarily matter I can strip them and find out if the capacitor is the wrong way around like the one on Julies bike. Then look to repairing.

Was that wrong from new Ash?

I guess so ... the polarity was marked on the silk-screened ident of the circuit board and the part was soldered in as per the ident markings but the polarity was wrong. Still did 20k miles I believe though and not so sure it was even the cause of the malfunction. iI still haven't got it to work correctly but determined to sort it, as that twin coiled 360° crank CDi is pretty unique to that model. Hence it would be nice to have a duffer or two to de-pot, and compare my findings.
