Kick starts
« on: August 03, 2010, 09:46:49 AM »
Hi guys,
Having trouble with my kick start. It doesnt fit properly. It clashes with the foot peg. I was wondering how many different types of kickstart there are for 550's I could have the wrong one or it could be the wrong pegs. The kick start lever I have is kinked at the bottom, not straight as it were. Ill try to get a pic to show you the problem. Thanks

On my 550 the footpeg folded up out of the way.

Made it interesting if you rode off without putting it back after starting it! : )

Interesting. I certainly dont have a folding footpeg apart from the spring loaded bit, but that doesnt help. Ill keep my eyes open. But thats the first ive heard of a folding footpeg.
thanks
