Also, the manufacturers markings are stamped into the metal on the original points, not stamped in ink. All points are the same on all CB SOHC/4 models.

I don't think you have to match the back plate to the points either, I'm sure Hitachi manufactured the back plates at one time but the points were still ND or TEC 🤔🤔🤔. I am talking about OEM original parts here though, not more recent parts that are marketed as 'genuine'.
Ted, i did say i bought it from ds as it was about £94 whilst local dealer quoted £148.Its put away now but i think it was tec and had the 154 end number
