Sign of the era with the L plate on a 175. Which led me to reminding myself the rules changed in Feb 83. I ran a CD175 in 78 and didn’t sit my test until 86. Nice bike!

My CB175 was brand new. My father was the guarantor. I kept it for about 9 months, then chopped it in for CB250 K0 1968. A straight swap I think. I just kept paying the loan off. The 250 "K0" (no K0 then it was just CB250) was a quick bike...before Soichiro detuned them from 33 down to 27hp with the K1....If I remember correctly. No helmet law then!Cheers,
