C'mon, own up - whodunnit?
« on: November 12, 2023, 04:23:05 PM »
I was round at a friends place yesterday who is restoring an AJS which was bought new in Westray.  The old chap who bought it gave my friend a picture of him astride the bike when it was new.  Leslie has pinned it up on the wall for inspiration.  As I was examining the photograph, I couldn't quite make out the name on the fork shroud, so I place a thumb and forefinger on it to expand it!  So used to these ipads and phones these days!  Christine thinks it's time I was put down!

Yep, a few times now  :-[

Everything, almost, I use a tablet for and probably at least 8 years now. These little cadence / quick routine things become quite second nature dont they.

I use a Kindle almost exclusively.

I have found myself tapping on the page of a book to turn it

Yep I'm in the club on that. Makes one feel less stupid knowing that!
One day I'll have the time to restore it, not just talk and dream....

Yep, I'll own up to that. Regularly do it on the non touch screen PC and have also been spotted trying it with the newspaper recently 🤣🤣🤣🤣

You could always cheat and take a pic on your dumfone then expand that

Oh, that's not cheating Bryan, that's using your brain - but that was the bit that was missing when I was looking at the picture.

I've stood pressing the car remote waiting for the house door to unlock.

I'm glad this forum is populated by other numpties and that I'm not just an isolated (basket) case.  Not with a wheelbarrow ST but as it's usually quiet up here, I find when I'm walking in busier cities that I check the non-existent rear view mirror when I need to hurry past someone. 🤡
