« on: November 15, 2023, 08:52:08 PM »
As it gets cold,
Salt on the road, time for some
Maintenance and upgrading

The 500 has reached 80,000 miles, so needs new primary chain and a look over

The other is just an upgrading the lighting

The 200 is running well, so available for pottering about

Jesus John, what's been rubbing the wiring harness away near the coils. You're lucky that didn't catch fire.

I tend to route mine under the frame member just to avoid that rubbing.

Little tip, never leave the keys in the seat lock, you walk past, catch them with your leg and either break the key or bend it so badly it nearly breaks, plus you hurt your leg in the process.

Is that a DS front mudguard? wrong lower brace if it is.

Can't be original John as the lower brace on the original has a loop welded to it for the speedo cable to go through

If you look closely, it has

When I fitted the second disc

I closed the link slightly to prevent the cable rubbing on the disc
