400/4 with a few mods😱
« on: December 29, 2023, 12:17:35 PM »
First thought - very impressive.
Second - why?
Third - because he can.

One day I'll have the time to restore it, not just talk and dream....

TBH I like the look at this sort of modification having seen various makes subject to extreme restyling.
Fortunately I lack the ability & funds to indulge but still great to see some serious custom builds.
Honda CB500 K1 (new pit dug out ready)
Honda CB400 four super sport (first money pit)

Rick Dunoon has been around for a while. I used to follow his blog when he was on SOHC.net - maybe he still is.

For the younger members in here, a “blog” (short for web log) was a system whereby you got an email when someone updated their website.

All social media is descended from that basic system.

At first sight I thought no, but it’s grown on me. Imagine it’s a nightmare to clean though.

Got to say I kinda like that. Workmanship is excellent, concept maybe leaves something to be desired but takes all sorts etc.

I keep expecting it to turn into a Transformer though.

Kids in a the back seat cause accidents.

Huge mental wandering job that. There’s Ducati bits, Ducati, knacker, Chinese models, alsorts in that. Personally don’t see the point or the need to spend that sort of dosh but if it floats yer boat then fair play. It’s probably slower and heavier than the original!!
Fab engineering, done really nicely but think it’s a bit of dogs dinner tbh. Beauty in the eye of the beholder etc…….

Same. Way over the top for me. There's not much 400f in there.
