CB550 K3 Airbox Fittings
« on: January 21, 2024, 05:51:45 PM »
I am very close to having all the bits I need to rebuild my airbox apart from the parts identified as Stay A and Stay B (threaded brackets for the airbox top).   I have one of them but I don't know if its A or B, is there a way to identify it specifically ?

They are a different width where they fit in the recess in the airbox.
Love the 500 and 550 have a 500 called Lazarus under restoration

This does not refer to the airbox side, but to the correct orientation of the boots between the carbs and the head.

Thanks all its Stay B I need then.   CMSNL have one for £14.00 which seemed reasonable (ish) but not when you add £15.00 postage!!!!!!
