Numberplate bracket
« on: March 18, 2024, 06:15:37 PM »
I'm trying to settle on a side mount design for my project and remember seeing one that I think Julie has on her bike, I've tried searching for it but failed.  Am I right and if so can anyone direct me to it?

I'll post the link in a minute Dom.
I can take a photo of it close up with the number plate attached if you need more info.

Hi Dom
Why not test the powers that be with this arrangement sported by the lovely Katey Abdilla on her steed Billie? This is in Tasmania, I hasten to add, you'll be testing different waters.  ;D

Here you are Dom. This has s Graham's Mongrel as it was near the front of the queue, the bracket that Graham designed and made is identical to that which is fitted to Millie.

There are a raft of different mounting brackets on e-bay - all sensibly priced some with lamp units.

Thanks Julie that's perfect, is the shock end spread to fit the bracket between it and the bush?

These are TEC shocks Dom. They are very slightly wider at the bottom and ordinarily a washer goes there but we just leave the washer out and fit the bracket there instead.
