They make "supplementary" switching kits, much like Hondaman type unit, this to take triggering from points and then switch load to coils by solid state circuitry.

Unsure if that's what is meant in enquiry  ....

If that's the case, it looks reasonable, but would need a field test pilot  :) to give us a view of practicals here on the forum.

Looking at the system blurb it looks like a half way house between a full electronic system & normal points.

One criticism of Dyna & other system like DS sells is the current draw. Looking at the downloadable fitting instructions & item details there is no mention of how much power the unit uses unless i have missed it.

Compared to the Dyna system its also quite bulky but the cheaper price offsets this so it has some merits as you remove the condensers.

So only two singles available.
Searched gammatronics and this cam up, so may have a go at a couple.

Made my own transistorized EI over 20 years ago. Ultrarelaible. A shameless copycat of the Velleman x2. In practice: some but noticeable improvement near idle and over 6000 rpm, midrange the same as OEM. Breakerpoints live forever. Mine already over 60.000 km. BTW, can AI or whatever app play the cited video (Youtube) with English subtitles?
