Mysteriously, lots of prices went up in the last couple of years due to the weakening of the Pound Sterling compared to other currencies. Downside is that imports are more expensive, upside is that manufacturers (if there are any left) etc in the UK will look closer to home when placing orders for supplies.
A friend of mine has a small engineering shop here in the village, and has never been busier. Getting orders from all over the country.

I take it we've all seen the banner headline that's recently appeared on the DSS site?

I'm guessing that's as result (in one way or another) of the court case . . . not great for them, but it could have been a whole lot worse.

As of 1st June 2011 we will only sell parts for models which were sold before 2002.
This will allow us to provide a better service for the market that we specialise in


I know that grammar nowadays is the remit of only us old pedants, but that really reads as if it was written by a 12 year old...
