New bike 750F1

Hi all,
I'd been pondering for quite a while to buy this bike, finally caved in and had it delivered yesterday.
It's an American import, and unrestored. I just need to get it registered and put on the road.
The engine sounds awesome, I'm well pleased with it

What a cracker of a bike you have bought yourself, even has the original exhaust on it, and the chrome all looks good, a very tidy original bike by the looks of it

Hope you got the customs duty form with it or you are in for extra expense

Yes I got the paper work for customs duty. Also got the original owners handbook and the previous keepers insurance documents. Last time it was on the road was '94.
The bike originated from Minnesota

Very rare to find one with an original exhaust. Most have Motads...

The chrome on this bike is in very good condition, with a few pit marks here and there. A good polish should get rid of them. There are a few scratches on the tank and a small rust spot on the frame, but all in all it's all there. The tyres need replacing as they're the originals, hence the other thread.

Only extra thing you need is a US title with year or a letter from Honda confirming build date (

Got the bike number plate made this morning so it's all legit and road legal.   Trouble is the weather's pants at the mo' and I'm dying to have a blast out on it.

That's a beauty, it's certainly rare to find one with a standard silencer, looks just like mine did when it was new, apart from the indicators  the front mudguard, and the handlebars.

I was told that there a fella in batly that has a warhouse full of new 400-4 500 -550 750-4 he releases some every so often but charges a bulgin price     will talk to fella who told me see if i can peruse some more info about ...........

I have a 1976 uk spec honda cb 750f with original exhaust downpipes and silencer is this quite rare to find, one owner, first mot 2006. 1472 miles and original tyres, pads etc.

I'm convinced that a large percentage of house garages in the UK hold at least one bike, and a lot of them are "rare birds", but their owners keep them for sentimental reasons. It's only in case of popping clogs or house moving that they get sold !

i'll 2nd that spitfire. i work on gas boilers, lots are fitted in garages & i see many interesting things. recently i saw a mini clubman estate rolling shell re-sprayed & looking great. i told the customer i have one of these & he said it was his sons but he had given up restoring it & it was for sale. i declined.
bikewize i have seen a fsie, bsa m33 & yesterday in worthing i was chatting to the customer about bikes & he said, come & have a look in my garage.  triumph 21 with 1982 tax disc, phillips gadabout moped, matchless g3, 2 x dax 70's & a 1976 cb750 in poor condition which he bought new !   not for sale though.
