« on: December 07, 2010, 10:38:08 AM »
hi all
name's Jurgen, live in the netherlands(noord barabant) and bought a cb750 for 600 euro's yesterday
i'm a newbie with jap bikes and have a few questions
it's supposed to be a '77 F model but i'm not sure it actually is
can you guys tell me if this is correct?
frame number is cb750f 1039494 don't have the engine number yet(picking her op this friday)
i'm planning on turnin it into either a Carpy style cafe or a wrenchmonkees/bratstyle sort of bike
anything i should check out before i start?
what are the biggest problems with this model? she has 65000km's and is in ok shape
tnx
Jur

Yup its a CB750F1 which must have been old stock if its 77.

From the frame number it should be a 75 but the engine number would help.

Also its been repainted with an aftermarket exhaust but i guess you knew that already
