That sounds like a good plan, I like the whole image of that era as everything is so styled nowadays.

It all looks a bit more innocent and less gareish? than some of the more extreme stuff used currently.

Some of the cameras from that era are nice too, I had a Minolta XD5 that I took a few pictures of girlfriends and bikes I had. They go together so well.

Yes it is a brilliant book - I bought my copy in the early 80's. Didn't realize prices had gone up. Would not want to pay 75 GBP for one though.

It's a good, but not cheap book - particularly if you want information on the early models.

You're unlikely to find any copies under about

Steve, 30 years??!! A rarity nowadays. I'm getting on for 23 years with my missus, albeit we've only been married for 2 and a half. Best thing I ever did.

Steve, I guess the aniversary is for the wife and not the bike  ;)

Or is it both?

Congratulations either way

The missus & I have been together 29 years this year, of which 27 of those are married. This was her back in 1977 when her brother-in-law bought his new CB550F2, the very same bike that we would later own.

This was not long after we got married in 1984.

This was on holiday in the Isle of Wight back in 1997.

This was her on the Mayday Run back in 1999, the last time that she rode the bike any distance.
Bikes...they're in the blood.
