Battery
« on: January 17, 2011, 08:41:36 AM »
Hi Everyone

Haven't looked in for a while, well I haven't been riding so there's no point.

Anyways the battery on the F2 is dead, deceased, no more, it has shuffled off this mortal coil, gone to meet it's maker etc.

So which one do I use and are there any make recommendations

Cheers

For a bike that isn't a daily rider, get a decent make (like a Yuasa for example) and invest in an Optimate!

Sadly she lives outside about 25m away from the house and electricity.

I was after the model type, you know like YTX etc

The Yuasa part is YB14L-A2: http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/Honda/CB_750_F2/78/picture/Battery_Yuasa/

Other makes will use the same basic number ("B14L-A2")

I've never tried a gel battery so can't speak for them.

Thanks Steff750 and SteveD

I was thinking about a gel battery as I used to have an Odyessey in my old Bimmer and that was real good
