just a message to say hello to all members

will need help with this 1 bought a basket case of a cb750k6 off work m8`s dad .that had been in his garage the past 10 years
no ignition keys lost!! carb rubbers shot, brakes seized solid, flat tyres,etc etc so basically need to get it started
and go from there thx mark

Welcome, and don't forget the gummed up carbs ! Found this after I had left my CB750F1 in the garage for 10 years.

Hi Mark, good luck with your new bike, lots of us on here have, and are building Honda sohc bikes, many of them have been total basket cases , incomlete and falling to peices, but work your way through it restoring piece by piece, and you will get there in the end,
If you are just looking for a tidy runner then ebay is great for secondhand spares, also asking on the forums, but if your going for a good quality restoration you will not believe how much money these things can swallow, most of us on here have boxes of paper reciepts from Dave silvers and other places which add up to an obscene amount , so be prepared to spend alot of time and money
But remember its a great hobby and worth every penny spent, the forum is full of people who are willing to help answer any questions you might have
