Headstock bearing nuts
« on: August 27, 2011, 11:58:42 AM »
One for anyone who's lost the bearing retaining nut for their CB400/500/550 (not me, of course - I never lose anything... ahemm...)

Getting an OEM replacement can be a pain, but the stem nut from a cr or crm 125/250/450 fits nicely. Stem nut for a Husqvarna WR125, TC250 or SM250R is the same thread so should fit too.
If it ain't broke - it'll probably wait 'til it's raining and you've got to be somewhere important.

Cb250 nighthawk, honda ns125r. I seem to recall I have robbed these to replace mine.
Got a 500/4 with rust and a sidecar and loadsa bits. nice and original and been round the clock
