rear hub for CR Replica

Hi again, i have now got hold of a CB750 rear hub and sprocket carrier, hub is away being built into alloy flanged rim, what i dont have is a brake plate to match. can anyone tell me if the later brake plate, ie 1980 type with the extra ribbing on the back, i think they were fitted to the overhead cam models, will fit my earlier hub without any problems, as i can have one of these FOC, but dont want to accept it if it wont fit,

I think this may be one of those things were you'll have to get the two parts together to make any sort of realistic view of suitability, unless someone has definitely done this exact mod and can offer you that experience.

You could always pass it on to someone who needs it if it's a no-go.
