If Ive done it right hopefully there should be pics of my recently completed F1. The photos flatter her a bit but she's not bad considering she was a barn find and EVERY alloy part needed refinishing and every chrome part was rusty. There are still some small improvements I can make ( and will do ) but she is going to be ridden not stored away for high days and holidays so it will be as and when I can be bothered.

Nice job. I Don't see many that colour...in fact I don't see many.  :)
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Set/sit. Bought/brought FFS. Bloody Americans.

The first 750 I ever rode was that colour. After my 500, it seemed to me to be like riding a turbine!

Mine was parakeet yellow when I bought it, but it used to attract insects and wasps, which made the weekly cleaning/polishing ritual very hazardous, got stung 3 times one sunday morning! Managed to get a good set of red bodywork for it in the end, problem solved ;D Well done on the resto though, and glad to hear it's for riding and not just looking at, the only bummer is the pipe, the motads just look soooo wrong on an F1, the silencer is too short! But, unless an original system surfaces, we don't have much choice :(
If it's got tits or wheels, it's hassle, if it's got both, RUN!!!

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, I am pleased, very! first resto I have done and probably won't have the cash to do another!! She is the same colour as the P reg one I had new in '76 hence why I had to get this one. No, not really trying to recapture my yoof ( am too far gone for that ) but I wanted a bike and my 76 one was the nicest I ever had and contains technology at a level I can handle rather than computerised everything. Modern bikes I know are so much better but they leave me a bit cold and seem to all look similar. Am sure others youger than I will feel the same about bikes of their youth tho I guess.

Dunno what the colour is, as, believe it or not although the alloy and chrome were trash, the paint survived, she has not been resprayed! Agree re the exhaust but I had little choice. Have to say I wasn't a fan of the original silencer though, would have liked original down pipes and collector feeding a reverse cone megaphone or similar  :P

You deserve all the praise for that one. I have  seen one with a pea shooter exhaust slightly turned up looked very smart.
Next job ride it, Enjoy 8)

That does look very nice, I think the Sulphur Yellow scheme is the best looking, and am going to finish my F2 in yellow, originality is secondary to how I want it to look.
