Rocker arm removal

Is it possible to remove the rocker shafts on a SOHC motor to examine the cam and rockers without taking the whole top end apart? If so how please?

You will have to take the engine out of the frame first, then take off the rocker cover,

then undoe the tappet adjusters fully now you should be able to get one side rocker shafts and arms out for inspection ,

i can't remember if you can do both sides at once or if you have to do one side then put it back together to do the other side?,

you may have to rotate the camshaft to undoe the other side? hope this helps cheers Mick.

If it's a 750 see the above. If it's a smaller CB this can be done in frame.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Set/sit. Bought/brought FFS. Bloody Americans.
