750 carb linkage
« on: June 11, 2012, 09:13:50 AM »
Hi all,
Has anybody got a fix for where the cable goes on to for opening throttle apart from the obvious?
Sorry for the photo but you can see one side has broken off.
Cheers

I'd go for 'the obvious'. Am sure you could weld a new bit on or maybe even through bolt a suitable patch but you are going to have to dismantle anyway and it would probably be more hassle than just replacement.

Its a bit hard to see but doesn't it still work OK like that?

Waggles cheers for that yes it does work only saw as I was messing with carbs and as it happens after posting this I found a new one in a box of bits and just finished fitting it.
The x head screw was a bugger to get out apart from that sorted now.
