Wrong summer?
« on: June 12, 2012, 07:25:45 AM »
Looks like I chose the wrong summer to get the bike on the road, is it EVER going to stop raining? even down here in the parched, dry, drout stricken south east!!! I'd sacrifice a virgin but I live in Essex. My F1 thinks its a submarine.

And another thing while I am bitching, why haven't the sizes of waterproof over trousers kept pace with my, er, 'circumferencially challenged' figure?

Getting silly now, I have just bought some wellies for the summer (dog walking). I think I am getting trench foot and the dogs are beginning to get webbed feet.

Twice, I've ridden my bike this year.  I can't be bothered to ride in the wet anymore, it just isn't fun, so it sits out in the rain going rusty.  I mistakenly decided to tidy the workshop and now I can't get the bike back in. >:(

I'll bear that in mind as a tidy is on my 'todo list'! My bike is a 'rider' and not concours but have noticed it is, er, 'building up a patina' already in this weather  :(
