I can add a gallery pretty easily and it will be integrated with the forum (just like the one on sohc4.net)

Interested?

Me too - can I post!!
Will it be like the 'inspiration' one on the US site? if so is there are way of stopping (or dissuading) the 'cut and paste'  of a picture/post with a comment saying "I like (dig) that" ..or similar? Not that ther's anything wrong with showing appreciation, but there is a huge amount of repetition in that thread (although I love looking through it).

..I'm such a whinger....! and I hate rules, so I really should just ignore myself anyway...

 - or should it just be for posters own 'bikes and toys...?

Great idea!

We are a much smaller community and I would hope that we would be better at self-policing.

We'll see..

Basic Gallery up and running.

Unfortunately, we need the Pro version of the software to allow members to have their own individual galleries (and to add, delete and maintain themselves). This isn't possible at the moment as it costs $50 per year.

If there's enough interest in personal galleries, I may put up a donations page.

No problem, that's why we're testing.

I'd also suggest to limit picture size to a more Inet friendly size.
Access via mobile UMTS and alike might give troubles at full SLR resolution of 4356x2304 pix  ;)

I've set it to self-approve so there's no need for me to approve them.

Andy.

If you're on a PC then you need to use Windows Picture Resizer. For XP you have to download it from Microsoft (its free) and on W7 I think its included. (Google it!)

Once you have it, just right-click any photo file on your PC and select the size you want. 800 pixels wide is good for websites.
