I've never seen one specifically for the SS50, but it is an SOHC, and I've still got mine from my teens, so it's okay on here! ;D

i,ve just got hold of one to do up need to know how to tell witch modle it is and how many gears it has without trying the gears that is because i car,nt pick it up for 5 weeks

Yo A moped with peddles remember them well.Good reliable not as good as the fizzie but hey loved them.Lots of of info here if you need it
Off the top of my head were they five speed?

some are 5 speed some 4 speed i need to know witch modle is 5 speed and witch was a 4 speed

they weren't the fasted ped about but you could abuse them old ss50's and they would just keep going   8) cheers Mick.

I had a couple of those , one of them i stuck the 70cc head and barrel on, it was a good bike but not as fast as the AP50 or the FS1E

right been onto david silver with engine number [ss50 ze 222229] that was fine then i gave them the frame number witch you can see fine by the way [ss50 ze220595] they said that car,nt be frame number because it has e in it and e stands for engine now i,m lost because i spoke to jason and he know his stuff any help with this please

Hi did you just get the numbers out of the v5 ?, if you did why not clean some of the old paint off the frame number and see what that says?  ;) cheers Mick.

I too have never seen an e in a frame number, can you post a close up pic?
