yes agreed if they are fitted must work, for M.O.T and for PC plod
, they still sell enduro and trails bikes with out them or lights and even now you can have a daylight M.O.T i bought a brand now 2000 model Honda xr250 all the switch gear was there for indicators and horn , and guess what no indicators or horn fitted, i fitted a horn for my own safety, i still don't have indicators fitted and its never failed an M.O.T in twelve years. the bike was never fitted with indicators and is as standard so no worries with any insurance claims in my case
