Removing tank badges without breaking them ??

Just wondering what are they held on with and what's the best way of getting them off ??

My ones are in good nick so want to keep them !!!

I use a thin knife, get it behind the badge, gently creep it along until your near or up against the small lug then gently prise a bit then find the other lug and do the same a bit at a time, there are two lugs that slide fit into little plastic retainers, well thats how mine are anyway, i know some have small screws like the k7

Clips are steel by the way not plastic and the pins on the badge are plastic
