Newest addition to bike family found this thanks to norniron400f he seen it phoned me and on the fridsy night and I bought it the next morning its a cb550 with a cb650 engine has electronic ignition and box loads of parts

few more updates finished some more of the wring and connected up the battery






ignition relocated to here doesnt look in the best order but works fine matched the tank lock


carbs where taken all cleaned inside and out then painted ready to go on

little bit of an update havent had much time at the bike but thanks to scott s of the america sohc forum we did a trade he needed shorter rear shocks i needed longer rear shocks to stop the rear end bottoming out, they came all the way from south carolina . Have also made and painted a speedo drive bracket to stop it from hitting the disc and half way through making a rear number plate bracket. Got the horn on as well but going to take it off again and paint the bracket.

Thanks ewan there 14.25" standard seem to be 12" the guy i got these from said they came off a cb750 if that helps any

small update

rear brake setup finished just need paint the bracket etc



bracket made for the brake fluid bottle and throttle cables fitted

had a good few electrical problems which have all been sorted thankfully just a few silly mistakes on my parts

only thing to fix is my horn button

more update progress has been slow lately down to the last few little issues to sort out and things i want to redo

got my tank and seat pod back and in primer seat pod needs a little more work i had it back to trim it so it sits clean against the frame

small update been away in england with work bike is coming on well with very few jobs left will get some more photos tonight just one i have at the moment of the speedo fitted

the last few parts i need arrived from david silvers
new chain and link
two genuine honda calliper springs
new pull throttle cable as the one i bought from another company 6 months ago was wrong push cabel was correct
2 new bleed nipples
2 new calliper seals
2 stainliss steel calliper pistons
new oil pressure switch





bike nearly done now
