You've done a lovely job there Neal - you must be so pleased with the result.

I am only down the road in Oakdale so look forward to seeing your work 'in the flesh' when the sun comes back!

I presume it was a well preserved bike to begin with; 5 months is what I estimate for inspecting, measuring and hunting down the required spares alone...

Hi Guys
Thanks for your comments, This bike was purchased from the states, a perfect bike in perfect condition, yeah right. It turned up --exhausts were rotten, tank three colours and dented, panels split , badges missing, frame was so rusty I thought it was beyond help, engine turned over but rings were siezed on two pots, seat ripped, swing arm bent, clocks damaged and bars twisted, it was a mess -fortunately I dont work, so it was either break it for spares or down to last nut/bolt rebuild. Obviously I did the latter and I am really pleased with it, god knows what it has cost me, I dont really care, its another cb750 restored for a few years.
regards neal
