Just saying hello. I live just outside Swansea and have recently bought a 1980 Honda CB750 F2 which is roadworthy, MOT etc. Its not in bad condition but i am looking to improve its condition and engine etc . I,m not going to get it in showroom condition I think, but in better condition than it is. I have a few jobs to do on it. This is the first bike I.m really having a go at.

Hi Emu and welcome. Are you sure your bike is 1980? Reason I ask is that the last SOHC Honda 750's were made around 1977 (CB750 F2) and you may find one on a 1978 plate, but after this they were DOHC, unless yours is an import from somewhere Or maybe had been left unsold/unregistered for some years, if you can post a pic we can be sure!

At the moment i dont know how to post photo i,ll try again sometime. The bike is British as far as I know it was first registered in 1980 and is a sohc f2
