That's progressing quite well Rob......that Yoshimura pipe sounds really good I think.

It's hard to fit  a legal plate on that type of tail fairing with a great deal of style......why do some countries manage with such small stylish ones but not us?

Your link to the Honda RC166 also very good.......nice to hear a longer clip of it too.

Thanks.

Hi Rob,
Give us a bit of info on that front disc. I've done a cafe conversion on a 400 and the worst part of the bike is the wooden feeling front brake. My current set up is standard disc and calliper with an early 90s GSXR master cylinder.
Cheers, Dan

The brake has not yet been tried so I don't know if it is fit for purpose as yet!  The master cylinder was sourced from a 2006 Yamaha XT600.  Caliper is stock, fitted with sintered pads and a SS braided hose.

First shakedown run is imminent, or as soon as the salt disappears!

I have to say that looks really nice. Not over-the-top and very suited to the machine.

What is the front mudguard/fork brace solution going to be?

The front mudguard is fibreglass painted green mounted directly onto the original mounting points.  No fork brace at the moment.
