Hi Folks havent been on for a wee while mad busy at work !!!
Finally got my engine covers from Joker Machine in the US and my 4 into 1 exhaust from Nostalgia Speed and Cycle in the US aswell i have had it ceramic coated in and out in satin black !!
Just waiting to get my frame back from the welders and paint and i can commence with building her back up !!!

Hopefully have it on the road sometime soon , cheers !!!

Hi...looks really nice.  What kind if silver engine paint did you use?  Is it the Simonez aluminium enamel?

I'm getting there with it slowly just taking my time with it might aswell do it right the first time around !!!!!!

Jamie yes it was simoniz paint I used after spending 2 weeks with a dremmel and various grades of wet and dry !!!

Hi Stu, I got my cases, barrels and head soda blasted.  Its taken the cases back to bare metal perfectly, because the head and barrels had been painted black at some point the blasting has removed the paint but its like the alloy itself have been stained by the paint.  Anyway, ill paint them black again and if nothing else the blasting has done all my prep work for me.

Thought i would put a few pics of my progress,tank only took 10 hours to do wit Nitro Mors plastic scrapers and wire wool,very good condition for its age i think just some surface corrosion underneath,

Really liking the silver gold look

Wheels fully built with tryes from DS ready to go on !!!

Im gutted just got my frame back today already to start the build and then work called saying i had to go to Norway to work for 2 weeks not happy but hey ho i have to pay for my toys some how !!!
