ride-out/meeting
« on: August 10, 2013, 12:15:49 AM »
hi al

I recently posted about the Calne bike day,

in about 5,000 bikes,only 2 SOHC Hondas,and 1 was mine,

there is a bike day at Brackley ,Northhampton,on the 18th august,

also at Sparkford ,near Yeovil, home of the Haynes museum,

do any of you guys use your bikes?

want to meet informally,

do you want more info?
I live near welsh border,about 80miles from Calne,and Brackley,and 100 from Yeovil.

other venues are about,

what do you think?

is it worth posting a few events??

Always worth posting events! I'd love to do the Yeovil one as it's only 40 mins up the road, but recently had major surgery for colon cancer, not even allowed to lift a full kettle at the mo! And I've been told unlikely to be able to ride again this side of xmas >:( so I've missed the best spell of biking weather for years!
If it's got tits or wheels, it's hassle, if it's got both, RUN!!!

Hi John, it is always worth posting about evnts, although you dont really get many takers for these things on this forum,  i just do my own thing and keep to local to me events as i really dont like riding hundreds of miles on any of my classic bikes , i do however go out riding on my bikes every weekend , again just local stuff, there are very few SOHC 750 riders round my way that i see about, i suppose thats why they last so long due to lack of use
