As title 77 K3 working horn wanted. Have one off eBay but unfortunately not working.
Had it a while so can't send it back.

Paul - stupid question but have you tried boiling it in water? Then loosen the main locknut on the horn diaphragm and refit and see if you can get it to work. I've reassurected several horns in this way.

Before you even try that just try the adjuster bolt.  I have had several horns which just stick from lack of use, loosen the adjuster then apply power to the horn and turn until a good sound is achieved.  Incidentally, this was Ozzie Osbourne's job at the Lucas factory before he became a rock star.

Thanks for the info tried most things and come to the conclusion it's dead.
I have read the book, thought that part was really funny with the deaf guy he was working with as Ozzie said Fook it I'm off.

I may well have a spare CB550 horn. It's not a chrome one like on the F1 or F2. I'll look for it & post back...

These are the horns that I have. They're not CB550 specific but they work,
