Hello form Yorkshire...
« on: October 20, 2013, 12:11:26 PM »
Hi Everyone, stumbles acorss this place looking for some answers to a overflowing 400/4 issue, wish i had found it earlier as there seems to be some great knowledge here!

I have a 1976 400 four which was the father in laws, following a crash he had it stored for 30 years until I took it on, done a lot of work and pleased with the results, still has a few bits to sort out before it hits the road and no doubt I have a lot more questions!

;) by the left fella, that's some job you've done there, very nice. I haven't been here long. got my 400 in January and it would still be sulking in a corner if it wasn't these chaps on here. welcome.

Cheers for the welcome.

Paul - I am in Selby at the moment.  although looking to move to north York next year.

Ordered some more bits and bobs.  Got a fuel overflow issue and head bearings to sort.  Then just need to do the timing and check the clearances and she should be ready to go.

Always sweet to hear it start up, such a buzzy little engine!  :D

Hello sharpy and welcome to the forum, nice job you've done on the restoration and always good to count another one back on the road as well.

Hope you get the overflow sorted.
