secondary cup on piston brake master cylinder

hi

do I have to install the secondary cup on piston, if so which way would it fit ,

original piston looks like it was part of piston when I took it out

hmm still not sure on that diagram I think its showing just before the piston, item 4 from the right

but on the original its in the middle of the piston I will post up some pics later to show original

Also this one on chain damage due to battery acid. Like their demo on how to prove the theory. Bet that wouldn't wash in these days of health and safety !!
