Cb650 jet kits?
« on: December 15, 2013, 06:04:40 PM »
So I finally got the 650 running today after spending all weekend grinding the new valves in. It runs pretty well as long as the choke is on. Take it of a little and it stops. It has some cheep cone filters on so obviously getting way to much air. I plan on getting the k&n air filters for it they look cool 1 filter covers 2 carbs. But I'm going to have to jet it. Any advice welcome.

Will post a link to you tube when I work out why my phone won't upload it.

First try altering the needle height and the pilot air screw, worked for me.

Put some towelling socks over the cheap filters to see if it'll get any improvement.

It may just bring it into range to at least run reasonably while you get something else sorted.
