Also works if you wrap the tank up in blankets and pop it in the tumble dryer. While the Missus is out.

THEY always know  ??? mine usually comes in and says whats that smell? and its usually motorbike related  ;) cheers Mick.

Never mind about smells Mick I threw a 2009 bag of crumpets away and she noticed straight away.I can do anything with the bike in the garage does not notice anything.

I always use the dishwasher brilliant parts washer.I have been caught boiling the master cylinder on the hob.
My dad dried a petrol tank in the oven years ago ??? :o

anyone remember those tins of chain grease that you heated up and soaked your chain? I stunk the house out and mum was not happy!

I remember my dad putting those on the hop.The smell, Barely being able to see the hob getting in the way more than helping put the chain on the T500 Standing on the kick start trying to start it and it not even budging.
These are all things that got me into bikes.

Yes we must be insane. My father always asked; why do you ride about on these old bike's when there are better upto date bike's out.
Yes, i have had CBR900rrr, ect, ect, but am more happier bombing about on a old CB,CD or CX.
I think it is because our bikes have character, something that a modern bike just can not give us.
