I bought this today.1972 500/4 in shit brown,5k,chrome all good,yank import

You will soon know if iots a US import as it will have a Vin plate on the RH side of the headstock as well as the number stamped in on the LH side, whicher it is send me the numbers direct to blj@blj.org.uk and i will tell you where it fits in my reatively extensive list
