Anyone wanting Alloy wheel rims??
« on: January 27, 2014, 08:16:52 PM »
I bought a pair from this outfit in Italy:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261376142054

Got the pair for the price of one from the UK suppliers, was delivered in 3 days!!

I've no business interest with them, just a decent product at a reasonable price and great service.

Superb find - I've been holding out for a DID 18 * 3.5 aluminium rim but will probably plump for these.

Have you laced yours up yet - run-out acceptable?

Not yet, need to work out how to hide the £150 spoke costs from SWMBO.

They look pretty good for the money, not super highly polished, but really quite nice, I'll probably get the spokes in the next month or so and will update

Good find!, I will order some, just need to be sure of the rim widths I need for a CR750 replica I'm building, thanks for the tip off.

Well I convinced SWMBO the only thing I really wanted for my birthday were 2 sets of spokes, and a central wheel components jiffy bag turned up this morning, weighs about 2KG :D :D :D
I can open them in the morning ad its hub polishing this weekend.....

Front wheel rim arrived, really nice, thanks for the recommendation Pete, unfortunately they don't have any 2.50's till the end of March so I'm trying to decide whether to go for the 3.0 rear  :-\.
