Removing chewed up phillips screw
« on: February 24, 2014, 09:00:00 PM »
Having stripped my 750 into a million parts the weekend and
with the help from my son to remove the engine decided to take the breather casting off
seized up front screw, the only one i have come across during the strip.
My son showed me a great way to remove it.
Drill a hole in the top 2.5mm dia or so ,tap  a torx bit into the hole, attach
ratchet handle and hey presto out it came.
Might be of use if you get stuck.
Good luck Richard :)

Very clever, I'll have to add that one to the mental toolbox.
