Honda CB750F1 pics nearly finished
« on: March 08, 2014, 12:36:07 PM »
Hi All, not quite the standard colours, but started first time with still the mudguard problem, but thought you may like to see the result so far? The exhaust is from Carpys in the US, easy to fit, and does sound great. (have used the baffle as is very loud without) (cant use the centre stand but great quality stainless steel).

Hope you like what I have done.

That looks great, well worth the hard work, what did the carpy pipe end up costing, did you get stung for import duty?

Steve was good, (Carpys) I think it was 499 dollars, postage 14 dollars, and sent as a gift, so no duty...

Good job.  Nicer colour than most F's I think.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Set/sit. Bought/brought FFS. Bloody Americans.

Looks great, just get out and enjoy riding it now! Bitsa is right about most yanks refusing to send items marked as a gift, I had to pay 3 times the original e bay price for a 750f1 caliper from the states by the time customs and royal snail had taken their cut, the seller sent me a formal warning letter he had received from the us authourities stating it was a federal offence to declare a lower value or mark items sold as a gift for international sales

Thanks everyone, glad you like it, Steve is a Brit now moved to the states, so he knows the problems we have over here. Nice guy to chat to as well, but maybe I should delete his info as I don't want to get him in trouble?
Thanks again to all who have helped me with the build. I could not have done it without you.

Hi, i have a black F1 with some gold stripes and have also been thinking about replicating the standard decals in gold. Are yours painted or did you get decals made?
