SOHC F2, spoke front wheel, twin pot calipers
« on: March 16, 2014, 08:22:05 PM »
I'm working on the twin disc, twin piston caliper set up for my F2.

The Honda spoke hub and discs is no good as the discs are too big, I think, a Suzuki GT250/380 front hub and discs would work with a little machining.

But, I don't have one I am just going on memory.

Does anyone have an old GT250, 380, 550 etc. hub kicking about and for sale??

Pete, I seem to remember someone saying that CB550 discs can be used, they are 275mm OD if I remember correctly.

The 550 discs are a smaller OD than the 750 but the same thickness, also the same bolt pattern unlike the F2

Thanks guys that is interesting, I'll look into the CB550 discs.

I know GS550 Suzuki discs are 276mm, and fit the GT hub, which takes the same bearings and crush tube as the CB750F1, hence my meanderings into Suzuki territory..
