which model 750 has a 295mm front disc
« on: May 09, 2014, 06:47:51 PM »
.. and a caliper arm with a 50mm distance between the caliper mounting holes ... like the one in attached picture. Note how the lower edge of the pivot arm sweeps up toward the caliper position and that there is the raised up bit of the casting between the adjuster bolt hole and the bottom edge of the braket .. which are the easily visible differnces with the 500 one in addition to the fact that the caliper mounting holdes are 50mm apart rather than 42mm found on 500/550 s

Theres at least 3 forum members with caliper arms for sale if we can find out which model its for ;) We all have 500/550's and aquired these by mishtake

CB750K7 does, not sure about the earlier ones, I just converted mine to twin disc and had to pay £30 for one of those arms from a breaker.

Mark, you kept that quite. Are you 100% sure that it is 50mm between the holes?

Both my 750's have a disk size of 295mm and both have a distance of 50mm between the holes.
One bike has the original k1 front end and one has a k2 front end with the same caliper&mount as your pic.

Mick, your calipers bolt from the back? On what Mark said and a quick look at the microfiche the arm and caliper in the picture are of the 750K7, K8 and F1. Not sure if the arm is used for all the 750k's
