elbow room!

hi to all, yes are you like me when you are going for a run, and you look at either handlebar mirror just to get a great view of your elbows? ,so i thought, would it be best to adapt the mirrors? i.e. using a spare pairs,hacksaw near the top, purchase a tap and die set?, make a thread at each cut section, and with the spare mirrors  cut two pieces 2 inchs long?from these and thread those and with some nuts and loctight job done, or does anyone know of another type of bike mirror (with the same thread) that i could use? many thanks. honstan3 p.s. you know summers coming, roadworks are just starting to appear ho-hum.!!!

Hi. Have a look at M & P site, search for mirror extenders. Got these for my 400/4. Easy to fit, well made, just the job! Your plans sounds a bit more tricky!

hi to all, thanks for the help and advice bitsa,are you selling those m/ extensions?, i looked up that site, might prove useful, they will raise the mirrors, but may need to make them longer so that i can see  behind, i could get a secondhand strait- jacket, to keep my elbows in!!. cheers.

They are I believe 8 mm extensions.some honda wing mirrors were seperate unlike my cb750s which I think are 10mm
There yours for a good beer plus post if you want them.Frack it 6 quid all in.

This not the exact type but some wing mirrors came on the basis of this design my extensions are designed for this style
