speedo gear box

took the K6 out for a shake down and the speedo thing on the front axle tries to follow the direction of travel
i have made sure the axle is tight and you cant turn by hand but it slowly turns until the cable stops it

Hi billy if the speedo drive is trying to turn than it can't be engaged in the retainer.

As far as I can remember there is no locater of the speedo drive but as you can see from the pics thats where you locate it do the spindle up tight and fit the clamps with the arrow facing front and it should not move.Try again mate

thanks i will try again in the morn. I definitely don't have any retainer all I took off I put back on.

Note the front of the clamp is almost closed where as the rear has a little gap take note mate
