« on: July 08, 2014, 01:40:11 PM »
Hello there, what do you think about a "swap" betwen a cb550k3 and one cb350 Bi-cylinder from 1972? The two bikes in similar condition of engine, paint, etc, etc
Thank you in advance.

Piki, i would stay with the K3. The parts for the 350 are hard to find unless you get everything from the states. Are there many 350 in Spain?

I love my CB350K twin but compared to the 500 or 550 it seems small and under-powered.  Great for footling about around country lanes but if you have to go over 60MPH ( 96 Km/h ) it is very busy.  I first got mine in 1985 and I still have it.  When I was younger I went everywhere on it and it was great fun but I feel like I've grown out of it.  I often dream of having another twin because I like their low down grunt but I think I would go for something bigger, at least 650.

The other day I rode a Moto Guzzi 1100.  That was ultra torque.
