400/4 Tank
« on: July 11, 2014, 03:26:40 PM »
Hi all
Now that I have fully converted my bike to race trim, I am thinking of getting rid of some of the bits that I won't use again.
Can anyone tell me what petrol tanks go for these days, it's in pretty good condition and is the original one from the bike.
I also have things like front and rear mudguards and the grab handle.
Thanks
Ian

Hi,
Tanks on fleabay go for £30 up to £100+ according to condition/authenticity and of course up to £20 for p+p, and some of these are minus tap and filler cap(sold separately)--Ken

Ok guys,
Here are some pic's of the tank I would like to sell.
It has no dents on it, but it does have a couple of small chips in the paint.
Any ideas on how much to ask for it?
Cheers
Ian

Thanks for the replies guys, that's certainly given me an idea of what I should be looking for.
Mickwinf, I'll have a look in my box of bits that I have left over for you and let you know.

Mickwinf,
Sorry mate I had a good look in all my boxes, but I'm afraid the grab handle has gone.
