Yeah the red light is an overspeed warning light. I'm pretty sure the JDM k1's carried over the k0 gauges. This is def a candidate for returning to Japan...

Not a SOHC but never seen one of these Japanese Domestic market CB250's in the UK. Like a cross between a CB250SS (K0) and CB72/77
